Which driver are you using (ipw2100/ipw2200 or driverloader/ndiswrapper)?

What is the output of "iwconfig" (as root)?

Say your AP's essid is "tuxnet" and your WEP passphrase is
"penguin", then you should be able to configure it using

iwconfig eth1 mode managed
iwconfig eth1 essid tuxnet
iwconfig eth1 key s:penguin
