I've been trying to register for this conference over the web, and of
course the page is "optimised" for Internet Exploder 7 (unreleased) on
PC. That may be an exaggeration but neither IE 5 for Mac nor Netscrap
7 for Mac make it all the way through to a confirmed registration, and
Firefox on Linux even crashes on the javashit.
But that's not what I came to talk about.
What really is annoying is that if the page screws (or even if it
doesn't) and I go back, I get the damn "post data expired, resend?"
message, which of course I don't want it to do (have you ever tried to
get a duplicate payment back from an academic conference?!)
Are there any browsers that will cache the page and display it as it
was so I can look at it or even print it?
