[tlug] video board recommendations?

Hi all, good to see you last Saturday!

My video board (pretty sure it's the video board, I get the same bad
results with a completely different monitor, like one is a CRT and the
other flat panel) seems to be frying.  What are people recommending
these days?  I'm not a big game player, but I do like high resolution
(my monitor will do 1900x1440 or something like that).
