There are severel progs for windows that compress the video and the audio so
that you can stuff
a 8 gb dvd in a 4.7 gb one. Moreover they also do the css stuff. for
stuffing it they automatically cut the
unneeded subtitles and audio channel.

Actually I don't remember the names but there is also some free software
besides a commercial one.
I will give a look at it when I'm back home.
