Another Linux mailing list I follow has a couple of real
WordPerfect "fans." They report that this isn't really "new,"
but a new installer for WordPerfect8 that includes the old
libc5 era libraries necessary for it to run on a modern system.
The Corel website seems a tad disingenuous mentioning
WordPerfect12 for Windows in the first paragraph and then
mentioning this "new" package is based on WordPerfect8 for
Linux near the bottom.

But if you are already a WordPerfect fan, or trying to wean
someone who is/was, it could be the ticket.
