Hi, I have been using RH9 for a while. Cant really say about comparing 7.x and 9. If you are using RH 8 and planning to move to 9, I would say its worth it. Its more stable, faster and the graphics are crisper. Its not much different from RH 8 except for the previous points. They did make a few minor changes in the menu which makes it more convenient. Apart from that, has kernel 2.4.20 and subversion (similar to cvs). I find it very stable and little faster. GUI requirements might be higher (check on this) The other thing is that it fixes the video incompatibility problems with the Nvidia onboard video display on Asus motherboards ( Newer version of X) looks like most of add-on rpms are available for RH9, but I would check on them before deciding to upgrade, Yahoo messenger for RH 9 is not available yet.
