I recently made top-posting *kinjite-iru* on the humanities lists that I
administer. It was getting to be too much. If someone top-posts, their
message gets bounced with the following note:

Posting Rejection Notice
Your message to H-________ has been rejected due to the following:
Reason: Top Posting
Explanation: Please rewrite your post so that there is no additional text
after your own signature and then resend. You can either delete the old
portions of the original post/prior discussion, or incorporate them into your own response
as appropriate.
