Hi.
I'm installing FreeBSD for the first time in an old computer:
Pentium 133, 32MB RAM, 1GB SCSI disk, PS/2 Mouse, Realtek 10Mbps Ethernet card.
I downloaded (binary mode ;) the images of kern.flp and mfsroot.flp Then I dd
them in two, new and formatted floppies.
The kern.flp disk, boot ok, and ask me the second.
The mfsroot.flp seems to work ok, then arrived at a point that appear the message:
"Waiting 15 seconds for the SCSI device to settle"
After 15 seconds, enter in the installation program. Then it asks me if I wanted
to load the drivers floppy and just in that dialog it freezes. It freezes in the
question about driver floppy.
Solutions I tryed:
1. Prove it all with other new floppies.
2. Disconnect the mouse.
3. Look in the Installation FAQ at freebsd.org
4. Turn on a candle to the BSD daemon
What am I doing wrong?
Thank you in advance.
Pietro.
