I hope that wasn't one of mine.  :)  I was whimsical in talking about
Gentoo when it added WNN support--I said that one could use either
canna, wnn and then I wrote something like, or for the wishy-washy and
the command that would install both. 

However, aside from Mandrake, which I think uses WNN by default, I've
always used (only) canna. One just, assuming the cannaserver is running
types kinput2 -canna and that will work in both Gentoo and RedHat.
