Gents, It came to my knowledge that a TLUG member who is now living and working in California is engaged in a very interesting project: virtual Linux machines, just like the ones in the S/390 mainframe, but using off-the-self PC hardware. He has implemented the virtual Linux boxes for a hosting company in a trial run, and now he needs people to login and test it. The hosted VEs gives people root access on a Linux server with totally sand-boxed Linux instances. It is actually quite cool technology. People can install whatever software they want and reboot each instance. If you are willing to help by spending some time playing with it, please go to: http://www.usonyx.com/products/0.shtml and sign in for a free trial VE. Thanks, -alberto
