Just saw your footnote, I guess you are right in that case. ^_^

Neverless, using ramdisk for /tmp is quiet a waste of memory.

I understand that tmpfs is very useful under a requirement for high 
speed temporary files system. So, some people took the alterntive method 
of creating another dictory (let's say /memtmp) for direct the specific 
applications that require high performance.
