Yes, I think that if you translate a sentence word by word and input the most important words into search engines you might find what you are looking for. I don't know a lot about the original problem but he might find something in searching the usenet groups with the four words "wrong filesystem illegal option" http://groups.google.com/groups?q=wrong+filesystem+illegal+option&btnG=Searc h&meta=site%3Dgroups e.g. checking the "Fujitsu MO ATAPI" link on that page shows me the following english error message: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda, or too many mounted file systems Michael
