Yes, I think that if you translate a sentence word by word and input the
most important words into search engines you might find what you are looking
for.

I don't know a lot about the original problem but he might find something in
searching the usenet groups with the four words
"wrong filesystem illegal option"

e.g. checking the "Fujitsu MO ATAPI" link on that page shows me the
following english error message:
