Hmm, I don't know if the 2.2.14 kernel has a real via82cxxx, at least it
seems it tries to use the sb driver for that which does not work because
Sound Blaster emulation is disabled in your setup...

Does it say the same thing if you enable Soundblaster Emulation ?

BTW 2.2.14 is rather old and 2.2 kernels before 2.2.18 or so have some 
security bug IIRC, so you might want to upgrade to a newer one...
