Except on the Gateway 3350, where it thinks the monitor is a dozen or
so pixels taller than it actually is.

And there it ignores the explicit modeline given in XF86Config-4
(after carefully reading it, I can see that in the log).  Fortunately,
it does listen to a 2x4^Wxvidtune.
