I think the machines here are set to use ICS (Internet connection sharing). 
I'm trying that option right now.

Nope. Right now I have set the LAN card to do all it's IP automatically 
(DHCP), but not go.

Here:s an ipconfig /all from a working win98 machine. As you can see it 
seems the TA is 192.168.0.1 and everything else is 0.0.0.0 ... very strange.
