Straight off kernel.org:
-rw-r--r--   1 korg     korg     23466722 Dec 12 01:59 linux-2.4.0-test12.tar.gz

Something with "test" in the version number seems to imply that it's 
a pre-release and not a bona-fide 2.4 release "stable" kernel but..
