In order of probability: * Bad knfsd. Never trust knfsd. Ever. * NFSv3 is being attempted. NFSv3 does not work properly on Linux. * NFS packet length is nonstandard. Try restricting size to 8192. * Network duplex issue. * Sunspots. -- Chris
