Hi, Sorry about the stupid question. I forgot to install the Japanese locales for glibc. *sigh* everything works now except that the spruce MUA doen't like Japanese. Oh well time to pull out the source and get cracking ;-) (BTW: The files I added were in the locale-ja-13 source tarball from the debian ftp site). -- Austin K.
