Well, there's still a few.  Slackware (I think, haven't used it in
awhile), Arch, and of course, the BSDs, which have, IMMHO (extra m for
moderately) a better attitude--more or less, the newcomers will learn
and no longer be newcomers.


One thing I see on Fedora forums--as my job is all RH and its offshoots,
I use Fedora as my primary desktop, mostly to see what horrors will be
in the next version of RH--is that, by doing a minimal install, not
using NetworkManager or any of the other desktop defaults, I avoid at
least 90 percent of the problems that most users have.
