Sorry, I had never use it, because I usually use Anthy, and I'll be
the debian package maintainer of Anthy (the former maintainer is
really busy now).

It has annoying many people... uim developer is very active, so
sometimes it makes unusable bug.

OTOH, SCIM is almost accomplish software, so now the devloper is
making an another system. And it is written in C++, it also causes
some issue comes from C++ ABI problem.

So I can't say which IM-bridge is the best.
