- Subject: [tlug] v9fs - 9P2000 file system support for Unix/Linux/*BSD
Whilst browsing FreshMeat today, I saw an announcement for v9fs[1],
which claims to deliver:
Client and server implementations of the 9P and 9P2000 distributed
file system protocols for Unix-based operating systems. Includes
kernel modules for Linux 2.4.x and 2.6.x kernels.
For anyone intrigued by Uva's discussion of Plan 9[2] but lacking the
spare boxen to try it out, maybe this can serve as a low-risk trial.
Uva, thoughts?
