No i cant even access by literal ip address-"could not connect to host".
the ethernet device is read as an eepro100 driver, i cant see a problem 
there however with 7.3 i get a message that says something about later 
searching for the device.
. However kbattleship the board game in its "connect to server" dialog box 
has yahoobb isp address.
/etc/resolv.conf ----permission was denied at root " su -" and could not be 
found in kate.

dhcp in kate has ip addresses, none beginning with two digits as in "43.  "
