You used oil, then a lighter, on the screw, in that order? I find it amazing sometimes that motherboards/cases/cards can be so durable-- I was brought up in the old school that insists on strapping an anti-static band on your hand everytime you touch something, and to handle your machine a bit like you're performing heart surgery, not like your handling a diesel engine. Glad it works. If it was -my- machine, I would end up frying the card by breathing on it wrong-- even though I do everything by the book. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: December 17 (Fri), 20:00 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Technical Meeting: January 14 (Fri) 19:00 * Topic: "glibc - current status and future developments" * Guest Speaker: Ulrich Drepper (Cygnus Solutions) * Place: Oracle Japan HQ 12F Seminar Room (New Otani Garden Court) ------------------------------------------------------------------- more info: http://www.tlug.gr.jp Sponsor: Global Online Japan
