As of six months ago there was apparently a problem that IBM had a clause
where they could change the licence and stop people using it. I don't think
it was for any sinister reasons, but in case someone tried to hold IBM
liable for problems the IBM lawyers wanted this option.

Wietse Venema said they were trying to get IBM to change the licence, so
maybe this is no longer the case? Anyone know?
