It works, but it's not fun. What's 'not fun' about it, pray tell? I started out with a Panasonic SCSI CD Writer that broke down about 1 month after the warranty ran out. Since then, I've been using a Hewlett-Packard CD-Writer Plus 7200, which has worked just fine with the usual Xcdroast software. Yeah, you do have to compile in IDE-SCSI emulation to get things working. So what? It works like a charm once that's done.
