I've seen DDI promoting this comparison:
        OCN 128kbs/24users  (~5.33kbps/user worst case)
        DION 1.5Mbs/48users  (~31.25kbps/user worst case)

We just installed a 17 system network in Shinjuku, running off 3 DDI 128kb
DION lines (one per floor).  I was pretty impressed with the speed; just as
snappy as our internal 10base lan running off two T1's; whether DDI has a
high subscriber rate in Shinjuku - I couldn't tell you, but I'd assume it'd
be as high there as anywhere.  I've also heard the opinion that NTT may have
the better internet backbone connetivity though, so....   (I bet A.G. Bell
never had to worry about so much...)

We've heard users getting both good and bad OCN bandwidth;  anyone out there
on the DDI plan with some first hand feedback?

Looks like there're trying to compete with DDI's 32,900 figure;  Good to see
:)  Let's hope DDI jabs back...

NTT also proposed the following ISDN plans, slated for Oct. 1st, (perhaps in
unison with the reduced OCN rates?)
        15hours/1,200yen
        37.5hours/3,000yen
