This is not quite the same thread. I somehow screwed my Bios and/or system time (that statement may show my ignorance on the subject). Now, I try to compile a new kernel and I keep getting: make[2]: *** Warning: Clock skew detected. Your build may be incomplete. This is throughout the `make dep` process. And, the `make` process aborts because of a time error. One other warning reads: make[2]: *** Warning: File `.depend' has modification time in the future (936763755 > 936747838) What is the easiest way around this? I have reset the time in Bios and system time seems to be okay.
