I have "/usr/sbin/sendmail -q" 
in /etc/ppp/ip-up.local . 
I need to change that to /usr/lib ? 

regarding the above problem, I suspect 
the "Deferred" option is not working. 
Maybe I'm missing something in the configuration? 
As I noted earlier, I have 
# Smart host
DS
# Use this mailer to reach the Smart host
DNmail.gol.com

in the sendmail.cf  . 

Should there be something after DS, perhaps?
