tlug: on demand dialing in pppd

Hi,
   I am looking for on-demand dialing ppp method.  There is an option "demand" 
in pppd-2.3.5, but it says
pppd: remote IP address required for demand-dialing
Does anyone know whether real on-demand dialing (with dinamic address 
assignment) will be supported or not.   I found a substitute for pppd called 
ppxp, which seems to support on-demand dialing, but cannot get it to work, and 
don't like to use minor software.  Is this a selfish demand?
