No, latex2html forks itself for each input file. I tried to substitute
some of the \input with direct inclusion of the file. It helps. But I
can't process the whole document in this case - it's too big.

Also I ran latex2html with -no_fork parameter. Same result.

No, I don't have locale. But question then, why can I do that on
sunos. I don't have it's there too, and perl is the same on both.
