For all of you who had been waiting for this, Debian's latest gizmo is gnome-apt, and it puts RH's glint right out of the game. And this is still alpha material... It does require a pile of libs from the unstable arena, but then hey, unstable Linux works a LOT better than "stable" other things, IMO. Look at http://www.debian.org/~mblevin/gnome-apt/ Really nice addition to the club. -- David Riley ::-->> http://w3.clat.hi-tech.ac.jp/ Hachinohe Institute of Technology 88-1, Myo, Ohbiraki, Hachinohe-shi Aomori-ken 031-8501 JAPAN Stanford women are responsible for the success of many Stanford men: they give them "just one more reason" to stay in and study every night. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Next Technical Meeting: February 13 (Sat), 12:30 place: Temple Univ. ** presentation: XEmacs, by Steven Baur and Martin Buchholz Next Nomikai: March 19 (Fri), 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 ------------------------------------------------------------------- more info: http://tlug.linux.or.jp Sponsor: PHT
