You will also need the option `-h whois.nic.ad.jp' for Japanese
addresses, and may need `-h whois.arin.net' (IIRC) for IP addresses,
and a similar one for Europe.  `nic.ad.jp' is not well advertised, but
the IP whois and Europe's whois are printed out on failures of the
default whois.

(C'mon, Chris, Dave's already learned enough on his own for this week,
be a little more verbose!)
