Oh, dumb, dumb ... Scratch what I said about hacking FileRunner. You *can* do that, it'll work, but the better thing to do is to have a .wishrc file in your home directory. That will set options for all Tcl/Tk programs. The following line in .wishrc: option add *Entry.insertOffTime 0 userDefault should take care of your blinking cursors.
