On TL systems the xdm stuff lives in /etc/X11/xdm (/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm is a symlink to it).. You might want to check the files in there such as Xsession, Xaccess, Xsetup*, and xdm-config... -------------------------------------------------- Scott M.
