Hi all, This problem just seemed to pop out of nowhere.... I was trying to get navigator4.5 to start and I kept getting dissed with xset errors. Well, after a little investigation, I didn't find a solution so I started looking at the system itself. That's when I found I couldn't telnet to localhost in an xterm. I get the error: TRANS(SocketINETConnect) () can't get address for wormhole xset: unable to open display "wormhole:0.0" So, I thought maybe this is an XDM problem so I rebooted to runlevel 5 (Slackware) and saw xset: unable to open display "" _before_ the login. Never saw that before.... Can anyone clue me in as to why this might be happening??
