Putting Xfree86 aside (I'll just have to redownload the entire darn
thing again in libc format. D'oh! :-), does it mean that TL2.0J would
have no problems with glibc binaries?

In an instance when I find binaries available in both formats on the
web, which one do you recommend I download? The libc version or the
glibc one?
