I don't think that's right.  Kinput2 arbitrates between user
processes running on your X display and dictionary/conversion
server processes running in background.  To do its job, it itself
needs access to your X display (to pop up multiple-choice
windows).  It either has permission or it doesn't, and it isn't
designed to communicate with multiple displays.  So you should
have one instance of kinput2 per user session.

I think the login script is where it belongs.  Mine is kicked off
in .xsession.
