Anybody who knows enough to care whether it's RH 4.1 or 5.2 should
know better than to care if it's irrelevant to performance.  That is,
it sounds to me like Fredric's company is doing embedded systems;
calling it a multi-processing 32-bit system driven by a multi-tasking
threaded OS should fake out the unwashed.

It's sad that Japanese companies haven't learned this yet in
computers, although they're the best in the world at implementing it
in, say, auto manufacture.
