I am having a problem with my sendmail. I think that sendmail won't deliver local mail if it cannot find the hostname in the from line via DNS. For example, the one today was from jwb@example.com and ping dgs.monash.edu.au fails to find the host. So, when fetchmail is trying to get all the messages from the POP server, if it can't deliver a message it quits (silently if in daemon mode) and messages accumulate on the POP server. Two questions[1]: Should I turn this off? If so, how? [1] Unless the answer to the first question is no. --------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 20 November, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Meeting: 12 December, 12:30 Tokyo Station Yaesu central gate --------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsor: PHT, makers of TurboLinux http://www.pht.co.jp
