I have to admit that Japanese food is very good, but lacking in some areas like bread, cakes and pastries (just as much as American food). As for Sauerkraut, I really don`t like it very much and don`t know many people who do. I don`t think it is really typical for German cuisine (except maybe for bavaria, but that may also be a prejudice). As for the computer knowledge of computer salesmen. I think it is the same in every country. You have good and bad ones, except that the ones in Japan are more polite.
