Do I need it? If so, how do I make the > new .img file? it's to load your SCSI module so that the root filesystem can be mounted :). RH's kernel RPMs don't automatically rerun mkinitrd, I guess. (TL's do). remake it with: mkinitrd -f /boot/initrd 2.0.35 And then add: initrd=/boot/initrd to your 'new-kernel' section.
