The right solution is the one that works.  Seriously, if that is the
only package that you are having a problem with, it is probably much
easier to just copy it to the directory that you are working in when
you need it.  Of course if you can find a permanent solution that is
better, but it is kind of a waste to spend 1/2 a day looking for a
permanent solution when the temporary solution only takes 5 seconds.
