Hi all, Sorry to bother you all with a non-Linux question, but this concerns the system I was planning to install TurboLinux on. It's an old 486 with win 3.1J that I was planning to add a SCSI external drive to and load TurboLinux, but when I turned it on this evening - disaster! The monitor displays a 1 or 2 pixel flatline across the center but nothing else. I can see the color changes when windows kicks in and all the hard drive buzzes and beeps are the same but no joy. Does the flatline mean I'm off to buy a new monitor, or is there some way to bring this back to life?
