1152x900 isn't a 'real' mode, if I remember correctly.  Could be that that
particular card doesn't like it.  My Velocity 128 (much faster card -
trade in your Velocity 3D for a Velocity 128..) has a serious problem with
the XFree86 DGA extension, and it only works in 8, 15, or 32bpp, which is
very .... odd.  Could just be the card - if it works in other resolutions,
I'd suspect that's the case, and AccelX has some kind of workaround in
place that XFree86 does not - Chris would know better than I would,
though.

As for the monitor specs, send them to me, directly to me.  Best to use
the custom monitor cfg in turboxcfg and then send me your XF86Config - are
the correct settings in the one attached here?
