I haven't noticed any significant difference in mouse actions on my Slackware or Sparc boxes as compared to the Windows 95 boxes I use at Sanyo and Shodai Universities. When the mouse slows or stalls can you hear the hard drive wizzing/swapping? The only time the mouse dies for me under Nutscrape is when there's a Java app loading and the CPU is consumed by that (usually just before Netscape crashes...;-) Regards, Jim S.
