I've made contact with a company that maufactures (among other interesting computer parts, such as NICs) RAM (all kinds, including Sun and Mac). They can supply 30 pin memory, no problem. They are a wholesaler, and would be happy to work with TLUG directly. Is there enough interest that we could work up a group order? I think something could be worked out where we don't have to just do a one time bulk order, but could space it out over time.
I didn't discuss price, thought I'd see if there was interest in the group first (I need some for my "prize" IPC of course), and find out what 30 pin is going for. I've seen it at various prices in Akihabara, mostly used. I know there has been some discussion of prices and places on the list--what's the present take on availability and price?
Steve
