The other case is most likely what you are talking about, where it just spits i onto the terminal, but doen't affect normal operations with in Netscape. In the seccond case it is safe to ingnore them, and I think that they have something to do with the Japanese patch. On the other hand if it returns the error and Netscape crashes, then it is neccecary to change the version of glibc that you are using to something more recent. This is also the case if Netscape hangs on a bus error. Also: Another thing that I needed to do to get kinput2 working was to add this to my /etc/profile file, so that it sets the enviorment XMODIFIERS to "@example.com=kinput2" XMODIFIERS="@example.com=kinput2"; export XMODIFIERS Austin Kurahone ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com -------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 17 July, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Meeting: 8 August, Tokyo Station Yaesu central gate 12:30 featuring Linux on multiple platforms: i386, Sparc, PA-Risc, Amiga, SGI, Alpha, PalmPilot, ... -------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsor: PHT, makers of TurboLinux http://www.pht.co.jp
