"Arguably" as in "I'd be willing to argue that" :-) I don't like the Mac interface and think Windows 95 is quite superior, actually. Moreover, at the time that Windows 95 came out, the application imbalance didn't exist. MacOS and Win95 stood about even, and absolutely all of cool new image tools and things came out for Mac first. Now it's the other way around. Even Debabelizer, a tool that was sort of a flagship among Mac products, and one that had no decent Windows counterpart for a very long time, swung around. Debabelizer Pro was developed for Win 95 first. It's great that Linux has come to the point where it can actually make headway and get so much press in the face of such market domination. Maybe Apple needs to pitch MacOS and make PPC Linux their standard OS :-) Jonathan Byrne Media and Content Section 3Web - Your Internet Solution! <URL:http://www.threeweb.ad.jp/index.en.html> -------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 17 July, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Meeting: 8 August, Tokyo Station Yaesu central gate 12:30 featuring Linux on multiple platforms: i386, Sparc, PA-Risc, Amiga, SGI, Alpha, PalmPilot, ... -------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsor: PHT, makers of TurboLinux http://www.pht.co.jp
