Thanks Jim I just read your other post in CodeJ - thanks; VNC-virtual network computing (or Vacation North Carolina if you try a yahoo search...) looks pretty interesting. Seems to be quite a bit of talk about it on the German newsgroups, but as I don't read German... ;-) I assume that because of the display update speed, VNC over a modem/external connection wouldn't be so great as compared to a network connection, but as I plan (read: *hope*) to leave my work at work, this shouldn't be a problem.
