Yes, I've tried MI/X-server on Win95. I'm not the only user on this box, so setting it up as a > dual bootable W95/Unix system isn't an option. My X-client is P200/72-MB/Linux, and X-server is P166/8bpp and Toshiba Portege/300-CT, both on Win95j. My normal environment is on the Linux, and sometimes I want display its picture on Win95j. Because both Win95j-s are equipted 2-button-mice, thus it was not so comfprtable to use in X. Futher display speed were rather slow Result of xengin Linux on its display (1024x768:16bpp) 1000-rpm Win95j (pen133, display-card I don't know) 300 Toshiba-portege (1024x600:24bpp) 100 As far as I conern, I prefer use Linux, in original. :-) Those are reported on "fj.os.linux" in Japanese, but Im afraid those may be expired, already. -- nemossan -------------------------------------------------------------- Next Nomikai: 17 July, 19:30 Tengu TokyoEkiMae 03-3275-3691 Next Meeting: 8 August, Tokyo Station Yaesu central gate 12:30 *** 20 June: TLUG will be at the Tokyo Linux Fair http://tlug.linux.or.jp/projects/linux-fair/fair.html -------------------------------------------------------------- Sponsor: PHT, makers of TurboLinux http://www.pht.co.jp
